DEVON DOWSERS FIRST TALK IN SOUTH DEVON AT ASHBURTON TOWN HALL

On Sunday 29th September we presented our first Talk in Ashburton. It was a great success, with 75 people attending which included 42 guests. This was in response to requests made to us at dowsing demonstrations from dowsers who lived in the South Devon area. They found the journey to Chulmleigh in the dark difficult to make, whilst recognising the history of Devon Dowsers which started in the north of Devon nearly 27 years ago.

Sean Ferris, the medical dowser from Totnes, gave us a fascinating account of his research into a number of earth energy lines (the Dragons) in Devon, and their interconnectedness with historical characters, visions, myths and legends, which lasted well over 90 minutes, and included a break for refreshments and socialising.

We were happy to welcome our 100th member who joined us from Winchester and look forward to seeing her again. We distributed a questionnaire for opinions on what people in the area would like us to organise. If you would like a copy please contact us via this website and one will be e-mailed out to you. Your opinions and requirements are important to us.

Earlier this year we put on two workshops at Ashburton led by Ann Lodygowski, both of which were fully subscribed. The success of the talk on Sunday ensures we will plan future dowsing events in the South Devon area.

There is one space left on our ‘Introduction to Dowsing’ course led by Gwynn Paulett to be held at the same venue on Sunday 20th October. Please contact us via our website Contact page if you are interested.

Other workshops and dowsing opportunities will follow. Watch this space!
