Important Update To Sound Dowsing Website

Print pagePDF pageEmail page

After almost two years since we published it, our website www.sounddowsing.org has been updated to include discussion of ‘Biocentrism’ a concept developed by Robert Lanza MD (a biologist and leading light in stem cell research) and the respected astronomer, Bob Berman. Nigel Twinn has also reviewed ‘Beyond Biocentrism’ a book jointly wrtten by these authors since we believe the ideas in it are very important indeed to any serious discussion of dowsing theory.

The link to NT’s review can be found under Latest News which is listed at the top of all Devon Dowsers’web pages. Our web site will now allow visitors’ comments and we look forward to receiving all of them, whether favourable or otherwise.

Due to Peter Dale being unwell we will now have a short talk by John Bowers about his and Peter’s new book ‘Grounded’ (copies of which will be for sale on the night), followed by some practical work with John himself and John Down. Don’t forget to bring your rods and pendulums.

After the break we will have a one hour talk with demonstrations by Bill Kenny and Nigel Twinn on ‘Dowsing for Sound’, their recent project into changing what people hear from recordings and radio broadcast by attaching small labels to domestic audio equipment.

No, Nigel and Bill  didn’t believe this was possible either until they began experimenting, so bring your ears along and try them out for yourselves. The website about all this is here: www.sounddowsing.org.

The website that Bill Kenny and Nigel Twinn have been building to describe their work on ‘Dowsing And The Perception of Sound‘ is published now at http://www.sounddowsing.org.

The site contains some experiments for readers to try for themselves and also has a ‘Blog’ section to allow further discussion.

Bill and Nigel sincerely hope that members of both Devon Dowsers and Tamar Dowsers will visit the site while adding that they ‘need all the help we can get.’

DFEST

23 & 24 June 2018

South Zeal, Devon

As the nights draw in and winter approaches, we can look back to June’s sunshine and reflect on the success of DFest, the first South West Dowsing Festival. Over 100 people attended and used the evaluation form to share how much they had enjoyed the weekend. It was a chance to dowse at some of Dartmoor’s iconic sites, to listen to engaging speakers, and to attend fascinating Dowsing Workshops.

A digital souvenir report is available HERE and under the Activities menu. We hope this will provide you with enjoyable memories and provide inspiration with your dowsing throughout the winter months.
