Lundy’s Early Archaeology

Tuesday 9th June, 7.30pm

Join us for our next online talk about Lundy’s early history through its archaeology. Henrietta Quinnell first came to Lundy to dig with Keith Gardner in the 1960s. She will present a sequential account of Lundy’s archaeology from early Mesolithic hunter gatherers through to the early medieval cemetery on Beacon Hill.

Her summary account in non-technical language will introduce the island’s early history for those who know and love Lundy.

Covid 19 Immune Protection Worksheet Index

Print pagePDF pageEmail page

Here is the worksheet to accompany the digital book from the post earlier this week. you can also access all the new resources by clicking on the SELF HELP tab.

Barry Witton’s ‘Covid19 Immune Protection Worksheet Index’ Worksheet Link  is now available to be used in conjunction with his ‘Dowsing Lifestyle Changes’ digital booklet. As you dowse each item, you can write down the result in the Worksheet. If you make any changes to your diet, routine, supplements, remedies etc and dowse subsequently you will be able to track any changes in results.

We will all be self-isolating to protect ourselves and the NHS right now, but using our dowsing skills to do what we can to maximise the strength of our immune systems seems a sensible thing to do in addition.

If you need any assistance with dowsing please come to a Zoom meeting or email. We will do our best to help.

Anu will give an introduction to the ancient Chinese art, including new perspectives of working with Lung Mei, the ‘dragon veins’ of Feng Shui. His unique ‘Terra Firma Feng Shui’ uses a blend of ancient disciplines and modern technology to bring harmony to the environment. Of the different Feng Shui schools: traditional Form, traditional Compass and Black Hat or Western Feng Shui, the Black Hat is now more popular in the west. Overlaps with geomancy and dowsing may be apparent
Anu will discuss the process of looking at a building, considering the ‘Four Animals’, the relationship between the building and elements, Yin and Yang and the Ch’i flow. He will stress the importance of organic, natural forms, soft corners and soft edges.
Anu will talk about the importance of ethics, permission and protection – working only with what we are asked to do. As dowsers we may perceive some resonance with energy leys, dragon veins across the landscape, as well as song lines, fairy paths and other energies.
Anu is a writer of novels, science articles, and screen plays. His book: ‘The Poisoned Dragon’, written under the name S D Anugyan, may be of particular interest. He introduces radical new ways of working with Feng Shui as well as Lung Mei Geomancy to explore some of the earth’s mysteries.

More information about Anu

SD Anugyan was born in North Scotland. He works as a Feng Shui consultant and writer. His multi-disciplined approach to Feng Shui blends together ancient traditions, creating new possibilities to understand modern challenges in the way we live today.

Co creation and rewilding in the garden
Tuesday 10th March 2020 7.30p.m Red Lion, East Street, Chulmleigh, Devon, EX18 7DD
Kate will be talking about how using an enchanted twig (or other dowsing tool) in your garden opens an ongoing dialogue with nature. In planning changes to the physical environment we should be working with the elementals, divas and plant energies that consider your garden their home. Kate will consider how our connection to the higher consciousness, enables us to tune into everything that’s just out of sight. In particular she will talk about her conversations with trees and how certain trees have messages for us.

About Kate

One of Kate’s earliest memories is playing in the family garden where she spent many hours. She delighted in stroking bees, picking flowers and trying to eat little light beings attached to plants. Her connectedness to the natural world has never left her and this has taken her on a voyage of enquiry and discovery; everyday something new and fascinating is there to be revealed. Born on the vernal equinox and dowsing from childhood using all kinds of everything she is now Chair of Malvern Dowsers, designs gardens in a holistic and biodynamic way having studied to be a landscape architect, keeps bees but not for the honey and has just started a Spirituality Special Interest Group to explore and deepen our understanding of the connection to the cosmic consciousness. She’s a member of the New Essenes (a group set up by Sir George Trevelyan who was instrumental in the Findhorn Project and the inception of the Soil Association), contributes to the Alister Hardy Trust that investigates spiritual experiences and has an insatiably curious mind.

She promotes designing in harmony with nature through her business Divine Gardens and her website is www.smartgardendesign.co.uk

Dowsing is a means of searching, not using our normal senses, and can be done on site as well as remotely (e.g. map and information dowsing). It is an ethical activity used for the greater good. Devon Dowsers welcomes those who have a fascination for this ancient art, and who wish to share their experiences with other open-minded members.

We always welcome new members, so please see our current programme  and come to a meeting to check us out. To learn more,  get in touch through our contact form. We’d love to hear from you.

DFEST 2021 NEW DATES

The new dates for DFEST are 12th/13th June 2021. Please put these dates into next year’s calendar. We have booked the Victory Hall, South Zeal for our venue on these dates, and the programme and meal arrangements will remain the same, all things being equal.

If there continue to be social restrictions in 2021, apart from another ‘lockdown’, we are committed to creating a way to share our common Dowsing interests whilst staying safe.

Staying safe. Putting love and protection out there for NHS staff, shop staff and all other key workers.

Being realistic and optimistic. By dowsing we can help ourselves and others. We need to optimise the performance of our immune system, remove stressors.

Use the new SELF-HELP tab above to access Dowsing Self-Help Ideas: Health, Gardening, Healing Circles, Exercise etc
