Is dowsing a spiritual practice?

It depends on who you ask whether dowsing is a spiritual practice! There are many dowsers who think of themselves as ‘nuts and bolts’ practitioners in their work with finding a leaky water pipe, an electric cable or a rich seam of lithium.

However, given that dowsers are interacting with the unseen in their semi-meditative state, with alpha brainwaves, it is difficult for many dowsers to NOT become more spiritual as their dowsing practice develops.
